It's fun to pretend to be someone else - and it's even better if no-one can call you a liar because no-one knows who the real deal is - even though everyone knows who you are pretending to be. Let the confusion begin. This is NOT an official Banksy product - we're just pretending. What's fake? What's real? Who still cares anyway ...

In this day and age of the internet one is fast to get the impression that paper is dead because paper is slow, paper is static, paper can't be updated. So, why bother? Let me tell you why: because there's still people out there with a vision - the vision that something, like skateboarding, shouldn't be something which is just consumed and clicked upon. One guy who still holds this enthusiasm about skateboarding close to his heart and soul is New-York-based Allen Ying. Allen just released the first copy of 43 Magazine.
The size of a 12" record this magazine is well worth the paper it is printed on. 40 pages filled with great photographs of, among others, Daryl Angel, Brian Delatorre, Stevie Williams, Levi Brown by the likes of Brian Gaberman, Eric Antoine, Hendrik Herzmann, Marcel Veldman and many others and just the right amount of text. "The mission of 43 (magazine)", says Allen Ying "is to promote the inspirational skateboarding, arts, and independent thinking that exists beyond the commercial side of skateboarding." Needless to say 43 is an independent, non-profit magazine.
If you truly love something you are willing to go that extra mile - and that's what 43 Magazine is doing: taking skateboarding that Extra Mile.
43 Magazine is available internationally through the 43 Magazine Website and in Germany through Decay Dudes Distribution.

FAM!
