We are proud to announce the return of Bwana Spoons to the Hessenmob Heritage Art campus. Bwana lives in a tiny shack deep in the woods of Portland, Oregon where he spends his time cultivating moss, sculpting psychedelic figurines and painting pictures with his dirty fingernails. Spring 2011 will see the bearded troll coming out of his hut with the release of a limited edition skateboard deck accompanied by an equally limited soft vinyl toy. We are so excited about the collaboration that we might be offering pre-ordering soon. Make room. Clear your walls. Be ready. Killers.

Here are some other Fun-Facts about Bwana: Back in the day of 2003, the last time Bwana was seen outside of his hut, aimlessly roaming the Burnside skatepark area, he created the "Portland" deck for the Hessenmob MetroMob Series, a collection of decks dedicated to a city and graphically enhanced by an artist from that city. Some even came with a MobMap, a guide to the cities skatespots - not the "Portland" deck though - that came with dried berries in a hand-woven pouch. Maybe not.
